Scope of Responsibilities :Responsible for systems level testing of optical transport and Ethernet switching systems. The position includes working with product development, manufacturing, and customer certification engineering testing groups.
Candidate Profile:
 Knowledge in computer and data communication systems, networking, and fiber optic transport systems in general
 Ability to develop test script code for automated functional, stress, acceptance, and regression testing of DWDM optical transport systems and modules.
 Ability to resolve complex issues that may require design trade-offs
 Familiarity with SONET requirements outlined in the ITU-T and Telcordia standards GR-253, GR-1230, Gr-1400
 Working knowledge of the following protocols, GbE (Gigabit Ethernet), Fiber Channel, FICON, SONET, SDH and ESCON.
 Previous experience with various test gears/traffic generators from Agilent and Spirent
